The Institute does not offer Ph.D programme through distance education mode
Entrance Exam: Admission to the Ph.D programme of the Institute will be through an entrance examination conducted two times in a year (January and July) at the Institute
However, candidates qualified for UGC (JRF) examination need not appear for the entrance examination
Interview: The candidates qualified through an entrance examination marks will be called for the interview to present/discuss their research proposal/area/interest
However, candidates qualified for UGC (JRF) examination will be directly called for the interview (without entrance examination) to present/discuss their research proposal/area/interest
Last date for submit the application: 30th November, 2012, Friday
Date of entrance exam: 13th January, 2013, Sunday
List of the candidates with seat numbers for examination will be displayed on the website on: 17th December, 2012, Monday
Result of the entrance examination will be declared tentatively: 21st January, 2013, Monday
