Calcutta University PhD Entrance Test 2012-2013
Admission to Ph.D (Tech) Programme in Pharmaceutical and Fine Chemical Technology/Oil Technology
Eligibility:
Pharmaceutical and Fine Chemical Technology: Candidates having degree in M.Tech in Pharmaceutical Technology or M.Pharmacy or M.S. in Pharmaceutical Technology (with NET/ SET/ SLET/ GATE/ GPAT/ M.Phil) securing 1st class or equivalent grade (selection will be through Interview only)
Oil Technology: Candidates having degree in Bachelor of Technology or Master of Science (without NET/ SET/SLET/GATE/M.Phil) securing 1st class (selection will be through written test and interview)
Candidates having degree in Master of Technology or equivalent or Master of Science (with NET/ SET/ SLET/ GATE/M.Phil) securing 1st class (selection will be through interview only)
Reservation of seats according to rules for SC/ST will apply
Entrance Test: The Ph.D entrance test for Oil Technology will be of 50 marks (duration 1 hour) consisting of both multiple choice questions (MCQ) and short questions
The successful candidates will have to appear for an interview for final selection
