Common Admission Test (CAT) 2013
The Indian Institutes of Management will conduct Common Admission Test 2013 (CAT2013) during a 20-day testing window between October 16, 2013 and November 11,2013. CAT 2013 will be conducted by IIMs. A candidate can appear for CAT2013 only once during the 20-day testing window.

IIMs may verify eligibility at various stages of the selection process, the details or which are provided at the website www.cat2013.iimidr.ac.in.
Applicants should not that the more fulfilment of minimum eligibility criteria will not ensure consideration for shortlisting by IIMs.
Payment Of Registration Fees
The fees is Rs.1600/- (General and NC-OBC candidates) and Rs.800/-(SC/ST/PWD/DA) candidates.

Registration For CAT2013
The Registration window opens on August 5, 2013 and will close on September 26, 2013.

Test Centres
There are 40 test cities. The details about the sites spread across 40 cities will be available on www.cat2013.iimidr.ac.in from 5:00 PM on Saturday, August 3, 2013.
CAT2013 Score
A candidate’s CAT2013 score card will be made available to the candidates. Related details will be available at the website www.cat2013.iimidr.ac.in. The CAT result will be declared on January 14, 2014. CAT2013 score is valid till December 31, 2014.
The candidates’ scores will be made available till December 31, 2014. Subsequent to that date no queries related to assurance of CAT2013 score cards will be entertained.
Admission Process
Please note that IIM shortlists candidates for second stage of selection which may be independent of each other. The process may include Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussions (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI). Performance in CAT2013 examination is an important component in the admission process.
Common Admission Test (CAT)
Common Admission Test or CAT is an entrance test conducted in India for the admission in management studies. Historically, Indian Institutes of Management branches used the scores of this test to determine the suitable candidates given the opportunity of admission. But now, Indian institute of Science and Indian Institutes of technology also use the scores of this examination for the admission. Previously, the CAT examination was conducted on an OMR sheet. But now, CAT is completely a computer based test and the students give examination online only. Now the branches of IIM follow a rotation policy to organize this examination every year. Students are advised to take thorough preparation as this test is considered as a difficult one including some multiple choice questions.
